Asset Investment Manager

£55,000 + Car Allowance
Birmingham (Hybrid Working)

Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for an Asset Investment Manager to join a leading housing provider. This is an exciting opportunity to lead on asset investment planning, stock condition data and planned investment programmes, supporting the delivery of an evidence-led asset management strategy across the organisation.

Responsibilities of the Asset Investment Manager:

  • Lead the planning and delivery of planned investment programmes across the housing portfolio

  • Manage stock condition data, component lifecycle information and asset performance data

  • Oversee external stock condition survey programmes, ensuring data accuracy and quality

  • Develop long-term investment plans and forecasting to support business planning and budget setting

  • Manage EPC data and support energy efficiency and sustainability investment initiatives

  • Produce asset performance reports, KPIs and management information to support strategic decision making

  • Monitor contractor performance and planned investment delivery, ensuring programmes remain on track

  • Work closely with internal teams, consultants and contractors to improve asset intelligence and data quality

  • Line manage the Business Analyst, supporting the development of reporting frameworks and dashboards

  • Ensure asset information systems remain accurate and support regulatory reporting requirements

Essential Experience of the Asset Investment Manager:

  • Experience within asset management, planned investment or asset data management, ideally within social housing

  • Strong knowledge of stock condition surveys, component lifecycle planning and investment forecasting

  • Experience managing asset data and analysing performance to inform investment decisions

  • Understanding of EPC management and the Decent Homes Standard

  • Experience managing contractors and monitoring programme performance

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present meaningful management information

  • Relevant qualification in Asset Management, Building Surveying, Property, Construction, Data Analysis or a related discipline

  • Full UK Driving Licence
